Galaxy Energy entered the solar energy market in the year 2000 and to-date, we are enjoying a rapid expansion and is now operating in six countries. Our patented In-Roof system has been a great success for the company. The head office and R&D department is located in Germany and our mission is to develop and market new and innovative renewable energy solutions.
The year 2012 saw the completion of our latest major development and we celebrated the opening of our new headquarters in Germany. The building is a first of its kind off grid commercial facility. Here solar power is used not just to generate power but the entire building is heated and cooled for all seasons using the heat generated by the solar modules which is stored in a 500,000 litre water chamber.
The Galaxy solar modules are produced in Europe and China under the strict supervision of our QC personnel. Investments into solar are relatively new and only quality products will withstand the test of time. Galaxy is meeting this challenge with its rigid uncompromising QC standards. A new Module Manufacturing facility located in Europe to produce the Glass-Glass Module is now in the planning stage.
